Introducing Board Member Lisa Quiroz
In the year following her Mother’s breast cancer diagnosis in November 2005, Lisa and her family participated in their first Race for the Cure in Fresno. Lisa and her sister Tina decided that they needed to do more to raise funds and increase awareness and hosted a fundraiser which was a dinner, silent auction and dance. The event was successful and grew every year. Their team, Boobie Brigade, was the top fundraising team in the Friends and Family category in the Central Valley for six years in a row. In 2013, Lisa and Tina were named as two of the 15 Faces for 15 Races.
Lisa has worked in the legal field since high school. She graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Legal Environment of Business Option. She earned a Certificate of Paralegal Training from San Joaquin College of Law. Lisa is a Paralegal with the law firm of Wilkins, Drolshagen & Czeshinski LLP in Fresno. She is the current Board Secretary for the Fresno Paralegal Association. She has also been a Board Member of the Fresno State Diamond Club, the booster group for the Fresno State Softball Team, since 1998.
Lisa previously served on the Komen Central Valley Board as Board Secretary and as Board President. She received the Founder’s Award in 2013.
